Digital Communicator

Bringing people and technology together

2018 careerfair.jpg

Nice to meet you, I'm Lindsay.

"Technology is the campfire around which we tell our stories." –Laurie Anderson

I find that Laurie's words sum up my thoughts on people and their interactions with technology quite well. As both a digital communicator and an information technology professional, I know the best conversations tend to happen around this so-call campfire. It may be small talk to calm down a "fed up with this computer" customer. It may also be that perfectly placed video in your social feed that you can't help but tell everyone about.

My passion for people and technology can and will meet in numerous ways. Hang out with me on this site to see what I've done so far and how I plan on continuing to weave the delicate fabrics of humanity and machine.

Biggest Take-Away: This position gave me a blank canvas. Prior to Summer 2017, Branding Wearhouse hadn't done anything on social media. This allowed me to personally create their brand voice and persona as well as set up a strategy for their marketing. The biggest challenge I faced was awareness. With a newer company, I had to build their social audiences basically from scratch.
